On September 17, the 7th First General Assembly of the Wenzhou Plastics Industry Association was successfully held, bringing together numerous industry entrepreneurs and business leaders. Mr. Fan Zhidong, Chairman of Chaoxin Machinery Technology Co., Ltd., was also invited to attend the event. Together, industry leaders discussed new pathways for upgrading Wenzhou’s plastics industry and promoting high-quality development.
The meeting opened with a keynote address by Mr. Wang Zhanjie, Chairman of the China Plastics Processing Industry Association. During the meeting, the work reports of the previous Council and Supervisory Board were presented in succession, providing a comprehensive review of the Association’s achievements and work over the past term.
The conference then moved on to its key agenda item—the election of the new leadership. Following a democratic vote by all members, Mr. Yi Yongdong, Chairman of Wenzhou Qiangrun New Materials Technology Co., Ltd., and Mr. Zhang Lei, General Manager of Guanghe Juner New Materials Co., Ltd., were elected as Chairman of the Supervisory Board. Ms. Song Ruomei was appointed Secretary-General. Meanwhile, Mr. Fan Zhidong of Chaoxin Machinery Technology Co., Ltd. was successfully elected as Vice President of the 7th Council.
The newly elected President, Mr. Yi Yongdong, delivered his inaugural address, outlining his vision for the future development of the industry and setting out plans and prospects for the Association’s work during its new term.
That evening, the conference hosted a dinner reception. Chairman Fan Zhidong engaged in in-depth discussions with fellow industry professionals on cutting-edge technologies, development experiences, and potential opportunities for collaboration. The event was marked by a warm, lively, and welcoming atmosphere.
